Constable's Great Landscapes: The Six-Foot Paintings.

Companion to this 2007 Huntington exhibit that was "the first exhibition to present all six of John Constable's monumental six-foot landscape paintings in one place." French and Italian Painting of the 18th Century

Australian Grants & Awards

 

Archibald Prize

The Archibald Prize for portraiture is one of Australia's oldest and best-known visual arts awards. The prize of $35,000 and the publicity and recognition the prize generates for the winning painter encourages painters entering the competition to stretch their skills. The winning entry is judged by the Trustees of the Art Gallery of New South Wales. This site also contains a lot of links to related topics.
