Digital images of historical Parish, Town, County and Municipal maps are available at this site. Images of Pastoral Maps, showing Pastoral Runs from the mid 1800's, can also be viewed. Current Parish Maps will be added as the project develops. The Parish Map Preservation Project is a cooperative effort involving the Department of Information Technology & Management, Department of Land & Water Conservation and the State Records Authority.

This site is the result of a State library project about local war memorials and honour rolls.  Complete with pictures, information, and a  listing of all the names. You can search by location or postcode or by a specific name.

 

  Commonwealth War Graves Commission

The "Debt of Honour Register" is the Commission's database listing the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died during the two world wars and the 23,000 cemeteries, memorials and other locations worldwide where they are commemorated. The register can also be searched for details of the 67,000 Commonwealth civilians who died as a result of enemy action in the Second World War.

The microfiche index covers the years 1873-1974, Fiche 6130-6401. The index records name of petitioner, respondent and co-respondent (if named), Divorce number, year and remarks.
